Mr. Suresh Pohuja is a seasoned professional with over 24 years of experience in the lending industry, spanning both secured and unsecured loans. His expertise covers Personal Loans, Business Loans, Home Loans, Loans Against Property, SME financing, and Equipment Loans. His core competencies include channel and branch business, system integration, product innovation, business strategy, process re‑engineering, penetrating challenging segments, P&L management, and relationship management.

Experience

Prior to his current role, he served at HDFC Bank (post-merger with HDFC Ltd) as Regional Business Head – West, Home Loans, reporting two levels below the Managing Director, and managed a portfolio exceeding ₹1 lakh crore. His career also includes senior leadership positions at HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, and HDFC Ltd., where he successfully led large teams and scaled business lines across geographies. He has a proven track record of building high‑performing teams and driving profitable growth.

Mr. Suresh Pohuja holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from K.J. Somaiya Institute of Management Studies & Research.
