Adar Poonawalla is chairman of Poonawalla Fincorp and the CEO of Serum Institute of India. An innovator to the core, Adar Poonawalla has been dedicated to developing affordable children’s vaccines and providing the same across the globe.

Experience

He spearheaded the Clean City initiative (APCC) in Pune and has since been actively involved in bringing dignity to waste collection. In 2013, Forbes India included Mr. Adar Poonawalla in the ‘Four Scions to Watch Out For’ list. In 2018, he was recognised for his relentless and passionate efforts to make our society a better (and cleaner) place and was accorded the Corporate Social Responsibility award by CNBC Asia.
