Vikas Pandey

Mr. Vikas Pandey is the Chief Business Officer - Consumer Finance at Poonawalla Fincorp Limited since July 2024.

Experience

Prior to joining Poonawalla Fincorp, he has had a 22-year long association with HDFC Bank, where he last served as the Business Head – Auto Loan and Inventory. He played a pivotal role in growing the Auto Business Loan segment and was also instrumental in building the “Express Car Loan” product, an innovative digital lending solution. He built a robust distribution network across geographies, with more than 4,200 branches offering Gold Loans to customers, achieving high topline growth and best-in-class delinquencies. 

As a seasoned professional, he brings in more than three decades of rich experience across multiple segments, from Retail Lending to Liabilities. 

He is an alumnus of Haas Business School, UC Berkeley and has been a distinguished speaker at various finance summits. He has also done his MBA in Marketing from the Institute for Technology and Management, Mumbai.
